Just hold on when your down Something should come around
When all things don’t go right
Just think and shed some light
Just hold on when your sad
Think of good don’t be mad
When you think all is wrong
Sing your favor old song
Hold on to pure humor
It’s not just rumor
Just hold on when your down
Something will come around

Fear Not Death
Fear Not Death
Death is the next life
Passing through this phrase
Death is the next life
A number is called
Leaving all behind
Death must soon go home
It’s eternal life
A new beginning
For those left behind
Fear not death…it’s life

Every Thing Seems: Feelings
Everything seems so strange
When I get this swift chill
Why do I feel this way?
Only if you could hear
Violence in the streets up head
My bones shiver like cold
A sudden explosion
Crying, smooth sensations
Just hear my hear bounding
But, only if you could
Every thing seems by far
Just thoughts I can’t express
Not now, even later
Have you had this feeling?
It lingers in your mind
Thoughts I can not explain

Everything seems so strange
When I get this swift chill
Why do I feel this way?
Violence in street up head
My bones shiver like cold
Strong roar makes goose bumps
Felling that last until….
A sudden explosion
Cry out smooth sensations
Just hear my heart bounding
But only if you could
Everything seems by far
Just my thoughts, I can’t express
Not now, even later
But only however
If it lingers in yours,
Thoughts can only explain

Untitled: Born The Last
Born the last
How time past
Fourth daughter
On charter
By no means
Child nineteen
Seen not heard
Say no words
Born the last
New times cast
How it feels
Seeing thrills
What a laugh
Ups and downs
Last born holds
Breaks the mold
The end fuse
The caboost

Sensing
A young world of sound
Seeing things that’s heard
Feeling vives around
Sense points of words
Thinking rays of light
Regions no couch
Locations of sight
Hearing things by touch
Tasting some peppermint
A site on waivers
Areas of sweet scents
Smelling cold favors
Slender world of cones
Positions not sought
Situations tones
Sensing, on just thoughts.

How well do you know
The people to choose?
Just doing those tings
They some what not do
Those years not knowing
That secret old past
Turning ideas here
No friendships can last
Do you know how well
To choose old friends how?

Just Wait :ReWrite
Passing slowing in his bed
Watching the birds
Fly over his head
Take the jinks out

Attitudes On Jealousy
Whatever it may be
Jealousy scares doesn’t’ she?
It may be the looks
Or knowing the books
Perhaps it’s the name
That could be the blame
It could be the threadsP
Or making more bread
Whatever it cold be
Attitudes can see
It might be the speech
The way how to teach
It might be the hair
Or skin tone that dares
Perhaps how to feel
That might be the chill
Whatever, it might be
Jealousy holds the key
But forgiveness opens the door
Attitudes forever more

Over Wait
Over Wait
The darkness by night fall
Awakes the fears in all
A short walk here how back
Getting that simple sacks
A panic stop your moves
Now what will this thing prove
Imagine a brisk song
Hum it will do some wrong
Over wait windy grounds
Walk stuffing sweets sounds
A whisper in those ears
Sending a voice that cares
Distant above, stand by Distant within, stand by
Those long craving might die
Slow down, it melts away
Your fears will soon decay

Somewhere Over
Somewhere over
Where birds fly free
Clear water run
Swiftly , breezy
Weeds spring up trees
Precious flowers bloom
Somewhere over
Where blue skies clear

Clean springing up
Lands so peaceful

O' Sweet Dreams
O’ Sweet Dreams
Hold on to
The just of dreams
When destiny
Hold no fears
Cold delusion
Fade away
Old barriers
Crumble near

Taper off

Old illusion disappear
Hole on to close visions
Fresh beginning
Freedoms cheer
Just hold on

Just Waiting
Poem # 13 ?
Just Waiting
Just waiting for that day
When this world becomes free
Just waiting for that night
When skies are still, my dear
Just waiting for that moment
When nature becomes brisk clean
Just waiting for that minute
When sorrow turns to laughter
Just waiting for that hour
When up roar turns, so calm
Just waiting for that instant
When greed shifts to charity
Just waiting for that second
When violence changes to hope
Just waiting here , Dear Faith
When Peace returns to earth

This Thing For Love
I want to share
This thing with you
But it’s so hard
For me to do
How can I dare?
Knowing what’s past
Stronger by yards
Greater than fast
Shinning very far
Shed me no tears
This thing for love
Hold it so near
Bare it no bars
Hold on with care
Just think above
Hold on my dear

Growing Up
As a child
Growing up
Oh, I did
Such and such
Eating sweets
Yummy stuff
Playing games
What a must
Growing- up
Seems so fast
Childhood things
Looking back
This from that
So much stuff
Maybe not
It was fun
Was it learned?
Or was it…
Just simply
Growing-up?

Over The Edge
Over the edge not far below
Rippling water set a flow
Banks covered blizzard like sand
Tapering on by divided land
Ice lily pads fix motions
Turned illusions no potion
Over the edge not far below
Muddy river, running slow
Twirling circles left to right
Just wonder what a sight
This idea came from when I look down into the Missouri River going into Atchison Kansas. It was on a Winter’s day. It was an awesome site to see.

Beyond the shadows of yesterday
Dense haze upon the past
Shimmers the rays of today

The Seed Of Life
A see blows upon a hillside
Than falls beneath the ground
Dripping water absorbs the soil
The seed begins to grow
Stage by stage the seed develops
Pushing the soil
Breaking the surface
Slowly raising.. A twig
A bush and now a tree
Standing soundly
Upon that hillside
Making it’s way
Through nature
Obstacles surrounding
It’s days and nights
These material l things
Spoil the tree
Than facing challenges
It its extent

A Voice Of Confidence
My heart goes thumpity when I speak
My mind draw a complete blank
You know why
I can not seek
My mouth taste dry
My heart beasts faster
As this voice tell me

Labeling
Where color goes so does some snickery
They stare at my head right down to my toes.
Mumbling things such a bickery
Bug eyed shivery their faces aglow

So you keep your place?

This Artificial Thing
This artificial thing, it’s conceived
Born into a world of make believe
Viewing life on it’s defense
Learning things that make no sense
This timing of life not bitter, nor sweet
It’s the moment when life versus death greets
This artificial thing has deceived
Died from a world so called make believe
Blinding death on its offense
Yearning things that made some sense
This timing of death so better, so sweet
It’s the moment we don’t want to meet.
Poem # 5 Written Jan 1990

This artificial thing isn’t received
Rejoicing world that made grieve
Understanding things that were so dense
Acknowledging things that’s enhance
This timing this eternal things
It’s the moment when freedom rings
This artificial things we do heave
It is someday true, we all must leave

A Flash Resting Gracefully
During the early
Lazy hours
While laying ahead
Just dreaming, quietly
A flash pops outside my bed
A blue image with sprinkling
Dense of white, so fair coming
In my closet by night
Barely a seconds glance
My thoughts processing to hear
Consciously closing my eyes
Progressing the fear
Realizing darkness
Glowing so sad
A phone call baring
News about my dad
Peacefully this grief
Falsely goes away
A flash resting
Gracefully
While I lay

A phone call baring news about my dad
Gracefully this grief falsely foes away
A flash resting spiritually Bid-Day
peacefully while I lay

Cycles Of Motions
I open my eyes, things become blurry
Everything seem to be in a hurry
Colors blend wavy and broken
Chatting as if they were tokens
This is blizzard what a notion
Cycles going through the motions.
Poem # 3 Written 12 March 1989
Cycles Of Motions.
I open my eyes
Things become blurry
Everything seems
To be in a hurry
Colors blend
Wavy and broken
Chatting as if
They were tokens
This is buzzard
What a notion
Cycles going
Through the motions

Stupidity
A moment of silence I hear a sound
Slowly, I walk with my head to the ground
My eyes fill with tears
I’ve heard it for years
My swallow taste dry
Though I sense a cry
Tears roll down my face
It’s the same old case
As I shake my head I turn around
..Bold so beautiful my shade of brown
I wipe my tears
Nothing to fear
My cry is no of sorrow or blame
It’s our stupidity That’s a shame.
Thanks for reading.
Poem # 2 Written March 1989
This idea came from an experience that I had in Senior high at Central.
There were some boys in the seating.
I walked by.
I heard one of them say the N word.
I turned around. All of them had their heads downs.
Some were laughing.
I didn’t say anything.
Slowly, I walk with my head to the ground
My eyes fill with tears
I’ve heard it for years
My swallow taste dry
Though I sense a cry
Tears roll down my face
It’s the same old case
As I shake my head I turn around
..Bold so beautiful my shade of brown
I wipe my tears
Nothing to fear
My cry is no of sorrow or blame
It’s our stupidity That’s a shame.
Thanks for reading.

Shyness
Utterness swallows taste
No substance to my case
Most secrets that dwell
Silence know very well
Find voices that can seek
Those words that I speak
Matter touch but don’t feel
Motionless, that’s my chill
Fragrant sense no smell
Peacefulness that my spell
Listen sounds, I can hear
Hush noises don’t fear
Plans see things as I blink
Ideas know I think
View all scene as I see
Tranquilises with a key
All secrets where I dwell
Shyness know very well

I Am
I am the utterance that knows your case
I can’t swallow the substance to what you taste
I know most of the secrets to where you dwell
I am the silence that knows you so very well
I may be the voice to what you seek
I know most of the words that you speak
I can’t touch the matter to what you feel
I am the motionless that know your chill
I can’t sense the fragrant to what you smell
I am the peacefulness that knows your spell
I can’t listen to the sounds to what you hear.
I am the hush that know your fear
I know most of the plans as you blink
I may be the idea to what you think
I can’t view the scenes to what you see
I am the tranquilises that knows your key
I know all the secrets to where you dwell
I am the shyness that know you so very well
