Awaken Arise

Awaken, arise, Upon this new day
Beginning again, On the Jesus Way

Deeper on journey, More lost in His love
Drawn by God's Son light, Shinning from above

Into my heart, life, My spirit, my all
Believing the best, Moving from the fall

And yet, still, we come, God's goodness within
Our reach; our present, For with all, we've sin

So, go about life, Upon each new day
Awaken, arise, Go the Jesus Way

Ready for new year, Those old things I cast

In the LORD's doings, Keep your head up high
Be lead by Spirit, Not wondering, why?

Near the finish line, Coming to a close
Looking to new year, Wondering, who's knows?

If any what's ahead? No worrying thoughts

Walking in the light, Of life that God's brings
