Brand New Beginnings

Been twelve years since when
My mother passed away
Oh such a wonder
Of that single day

A quiet morning
Still as it could be
Awaken from sleep
As I looked to see

Mother was sleeping
So, I kept reading
For I didn't know
Spirit was leading

For what to become
This end that soon brought
Brand New Beginnings
I never could have thought
