Being so silent Not speaking a word
Listening, watching For what I've just heard
Not jumping ahead But taking it in
Thinking about it Don't know if or when
The time to speak out Say what's to be said
Hoping it's okay From what I have read
Trusting God each day For guidance to be
His witness on earth For others to see
God's goodness display By speaking His word
Listening, watching To what's being heard
