Reading a story
From yesterday's past
Seeing how things were
Suffering that last

That caused much trouble
Pain in life, it brought
Concerns of others
So they reached out sought

Help for the helpless
Who wasn't able
To do life's duty
Appearing fable

Yet in all life came
Rewards were received
Reading a story
This life can believe

Upon Jesus Christ
Who's Lord, over all
Reading a story
Life has a call
