Crying Stupidity

Moments of silence, I hear sounds
Slowly, walking with my head down
Touching my eyes tears,
Sounds of yester years
Swallowing taste dry
Sensing no real cry
Tear roll down ward face
No wonder same case
Shaking my head while turning around
…Boldly beautiful
All shades of brown
Wiping old tears
What’s there to fear?
This crying not of sorrow or blame This crying isn’t of sorrow or blame
It’s just stupidity that’s a shame It’s our stupidity That’s a shame.

Poem # 70
