Making Some Progress

Making some progress, Coming closer still
Not thinking poorly, Not looking for thrills

But, giving blessings, To those who surround
In my daily life, Where true joys are found

Becoming anew, While waiting instead
Not rushing on through, But, hearing what's said

Needing to slow down, Listen while waiting
Learning to love right, Not to live hating

Be still, becoming, A blessing for all
Making some progress, May we hear He's call
