Year Draws To A Close

Year draws to a close, Doing my last dues  
It's time to say bye, Believing way through

Into the new year, Awaiting to birth
What God will bring here, Coming down to earth

New doors opening, While another shuts
Longing to move on, Grateful that we met

Past, long behind me, Pressing on ahead
Hoping to become, More than what was said

Long journey over, Yet more left to say
Year draws to a close ,Counting out my days
