Near The Finish Line

Near the finish line, Coming to a close
Looking to new year, Wondering, who's knows?

If any what's ahead? No worrying thoughts
Just rethinking life, Not what sorrow brought

But, the joy within, Put smiles on faces
Warm feeling in heart, Gone about places

Walking in the light, Of life that God's brings
Through Jesus, the Christ, Our beautiful King

Each year will await, Coming to a close
Near the finish line, Only God, He knows
