Been A Long Hard Night

Been a long hard night, Sleepless as it may
Worry settles in, Resting here to pray

O God, have mercy, On us in our ways
Moments of sorrows, Hopeless display

Please guide us onward, In Your path we go
Lost in our own ways, Yet, still we don't know

Lost in our doing, What's right from what's wrong?
Teach us to see good, Help us to be strong

While going astray, Praying and fasting, 
Hearing heavens  call, God's everlasting

Lighten our pathway, Help us to foresee
Been a long hard night, As we're on our knees
