Getting Mind Off The Past

I wrote this poem during the Lent season.
I was thinking about needing to move on from some things in my life. I've been there too long. So I was getting mind off the past.

It's time to move on
Stop looking at past

That was once now gone
See good that can last

Bring insight to now
Forgetting some things

The Spirit shows how
A new song to sing

Learn to do next deal
Seek the LORD just ask

Focus on God's will
Get mind off the past
