Why do we label
Which race we are?

Is it like were
Shades on a bar?

White, yellow, red,
Brown, black, the tones

Is it the colors
That make our zones?

Color have beauty
Beauty we should see

Rainbow of colors
One bouquet are we

How did I come up with this poem?
I was thinking about the 2010 Census.
There was a section on what race we are?

Does it really matter to know?
I know that it was a question.
We seem to what to label things in our lives.
I marked the box.
I consider my self black.

There is only one race.
That's the HUMAN RACE.
We are just one rainbow of colors.
