There's Something We Don't See

Trying to make things work
But, how can this thing be?

Like voices don't matter
Do others come to see?

Where we are coming from
Or how we might be heard?

Wanting the unity
Yet, listening not a word

So, what are we missing?
What is it we don't get?

There's something we don't see
May we all learn a bit

After Thoughts:
How I came up with this poem?
There was an issue that kept coming up.
When ideas and suggestions were mentioned....
It was like what was said was not heard.
We want things to be in unity but not hear what others say.
How is that being in unity?

What is the point in saying some things?
Do each voice matter?
We can learn from others when they don't see others' point of view.
It's not who's right or who's wrong.
It's working together as a team.
Or is it something we all don't see?
