Bringing Hope

Into the darkness
                            Of yesterdays
Beyond the coldness
                            Of gloomy nights
Lays a glowing haze
                             Upon our present
Shimmering the rays
                            Of golden days
Distant the shadows
                             Of olden days

                             Of your daylight
Reflecting the values
                              Of tomorrow
Bringing Hope that’s
                              Still yet to come
